the bit at the end about high octane fuel is pretty old, modern engines run with little to no knock at CR's 9-10:1 on 87 octane fuel without a problem.

reminds me of the head grooves of Somender Singh. i've always wanted to play around with that some, but the spare head i have for an engine i can play with doesnt really have any areas to cut into.

What did you think? Good source? I know it presents the basics of knocking very well.

pretty good, i posted a good one on the parent site that should probably be copied over here. also a good plug reading guide should be posted, you can tell alot about timing from the ground strap.
