SLF BBQ, Postpone?
I know this is just a short notice, but I’m trying to make this comfortable enough for everyone to enjoy and not waste your time driving all the way down here.
I’ve been keeping an eye on the weather for tomorrow and it seems like we will have a 40% chance of rain somewhere in the afternoon. Seeing how the rain been acting lately these past couple of days, going on and off, and the high price of only available shelters, I will make a decision by 6pm if we should continue as planned or postpone this BBQ Meet event. The other thing I was mentioning to some members, is to meet at towers(in Davie/close by) and then drive down to Key Biscayne where we have had most of our bbqs meet in the past where shelters are available for free, whether rain or shine we are cover. I know is not fair to those driving from far but that’s why I’m going to leave this up to you guys, so plz leave some feedback. I’m suggesting the following: -Keep as planned whether rain or shine. -Change location for tomorrow to another park in key Biscayne. -Postpone the event for mid/end of June. -Next Weekend |

Everyone already has off of work and all that mess.. Lets just have the damn meet. If we all have to relocate, so be it! There are already people driving 3+ hours away to get there.

I fourth it! WE ARE GOOD TO GO!
JC, if it rains, its Miami, we wait 5 minutes. No biggie. And like Cody said, most people have requested off from work already so it would be a hassle to reschedule this. If worst comes to worst, we all drive down to Key Biscayne. It really isnt that far. I say we wait for tomorrow to see how the weather is and then make the call. But thats me.
